On August 14, two of Bikeology’s best are taking on a challenge. Bikeology are known for coming up with some great idea’s, sadly this is not one of their best. In the name of charity we are going to take on, and complete the Leinster Loop, a 130k road cycle sportive on bikes not designed for the purpose.
The chosen weapon for this mega challenge is a mountain bike with three inch wide tyres, to give you an idea how crazy this is most bikes on the sportive will be light weight road bikes with skinny tyres , but we decided that they need something tougher so picked a heavy mountain bike with large tyres designed to be ridden off-road.
We are doing this in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation and are hoping to raise €2000 for this great cause. Please keep on eye on our Facebook page for updates on how our training is going and of course, how we get on on the big day itself .
