Checkpoint ALR 5 is the best value gravel bike in the line-up. It's a high-quality build that will hold up for long, rugged miles on roads, dirt and even the most treacherous gravel. But what sets this model apart is the performance parts and the wealth of features like adjustable Stranglehold dropouts, massive tyre clearance and extra mounts that make it easy to customise for your kind of adventure.
Unlike the pure roadie who measures watts and weighs out meals, you favour epic all-road adventures that probably end with a beer and a burrito. But that doesn't mean you'll compromise on performance. You expect to get a lot for your hard-earned money, including quality, versatility, durability and a ridiculous amount of fun.
A 300 Series Alpha Aluminium frame with massive tyre clearance and adjustable Stranglehold dropouts, a carbon fork, 12 mm thru axles, an 11-speed Shimano 105 drive train and a wide-range 11-34 cassette that's great for climbing. Plus, mudguard and rack mounts, flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes for all-weather stopping power, a Bontrager Elite IsoZone handlebar with foam pads integrated into the tops and 700x40 Bontrager GR1 Comp tyres for added stability and traction.
If the amount of adventure you can get per pound spent is a priority for you, you won't do better than Checkpoint ALR 5. Quality parts, a durable alloy frame that keeps the price in check, and a wealth of features like extra tyre clearance and customisation options so you can confidently take on bigger, better adventures.

Annual service, No Charge……you get the idea!!! ZERO Labour charges for two years**.

Trek began in 1976, when a pair of determined guys set out to make the best bicycles the world had ever seen. Their vision was grounded in unswerving principles: the product would be of the highest quality craftsmanship and it would bring the joy of cycling to a broader audience.
It was this philosophy that brought Bikeology and Trek together. We know that a quality bike will bring joy and passion to people from all walks of life. With our partnership with Trek, we will continue to bring the joy of the bicycle to more and more people. Some will simply use the bicycle as a tool in their daily life, for others, the bicycle will become a passion that will define the course of their life.
Bikeology and Trek have one thing in common, we are driven by adventure, guided by our history, inspired by community, enchanted by the freedom of the open road and committed, always, to creating, using and providing the world’s greatest bicycles.
