Rail 7 is a long-travel electric mountain bike built for ripping the big stuff. It features the same high-end trail tech as our analogue trail bikes, an upgraded fork, drivetrain, battery and more, plus a powerful new Bosch drive system that's basically like having your own shuttle.
You?re looking for a trail-specific e-MTB that?s designed to tackle the same tough terrain as regular trail bikes. You already know just how amazing e-MTBs are on the mountain, and want to invest in better components.
A burly alloy frame with 150 mm of rear travel that fully encases a 625 Wh battery, a 160 mm RockShox Yari RC fork, a powerful new Bosch Performance Line CX 250 W motor that assists up to 25 km/h and a Purion controller. A smooth-shifting 1x12 Shimano SLX/XT drive train, dropper post, powerful Shimano 4-piston brakes for confident descents and Bontrager Line Comp 30 29er wheels that are already completely tubeless-ready, including sealant.
The Rail 7 features loads of upgraded parts, including the drive train, fork and wheels. But the biggest deal is that it comes with the longest-range Bosch battery you can get. That means more runs and more fun.
- The new, better-than-ever Bosch motor is smaller, lighter and more efficient. It feels more natural while you?re pedalling, and has less drag when you?re not
- Rail shreds just as hard as its non-electric brethren, plus it powers you right back up the mountain ? no shuttle or lift necessary
- The Purion controller has Walk Assist and an intelligent eMTB mode that automatically delivers the right amount of power based on your terrain
- Made with the same exclusive frame tech as Remedy and Slash, like Mino Link adjustable geometry, a Straight Shot down tube for extra stiffness and Active Braking Pivot (ABP)
- Trek's Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system looks great and is super user-friendly: it fully hides the battery in the frame for protection, makes it easy remove the battery without tools and lets you mount a water bottle cage
New Bosch Performance Line CX
The all-new Bosch Performance Line CX motor is lighter, smaller and quieter than previous versions, for cleaner integration and more nimble handling. It?s also more efficient so you can go further on a single battery charge. Use the intelligent eMTB mode to automatically adjust the amount of assist to match the terrain. It?s a set-and-forget mode that delivers just the right amount of power so you can focus on enjoying the ride.
Custom eMTB Lite mode
Trek eMTBs feature a custom eMTB Lite mode in place of Tour mode. It gives you more natural-feeling power delivery and longer battery life.
Removable Integrated Battery
RIB is a one-piece battery and cover with a built-in handle that can easily be removed and re-installed in the frame with no tools and no hassle. It?s the most convenient way to remove your battery for transport, security or just easier charging.
Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Knock Block has your frame's back when things go wrong. It prevents your handlebars from spinning all the way around in a crash, so your hoses won't get yanked and your controls won't hit the top tube.
At Bikeology, we pride ourselves on our aftersales service and the quality of the products we sell. If we can’t stand over a product or a service, then we simply don’t sell it.
Every bike we sell comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame. A lifetime warranty on the frame entitles you to a new frame should there be any failure caused by fatigue or defective manufacture. Should this unlikely failure happen, we will process your warranty claim and rebuild your bike from the ground up completely free of charge*.
All other parts fall under the manufacturers warranty, but rest assured, we will do everything we can to get your bike back running smooth as silk as soon as possible, after all, you put your confidence in Bikeology. Should a problem arise, well, now it’s our time to prove you made the right decision in Bikeology.
As part of our drive to make your cycling experience the best it can be, we offer two years FREE servicing with every bike we sell.
What does this actually mean?
ALL labour charges are waived for 2 years from the date of purchase. For example, if your bike needed a service and a new tyre, the typical cost would be €40 plus €16 for a basic tyre. With our two years FREE servicing, this would only cost €16. If your gears need an adjustment, no charge at all!!! Buckled a wheel? Don’t worry, no charge at all!!! Annual service, No Charge……you get the idea!!! ZERO Labour charges for two years**.
*Any new parts needed will be assessed on a case by case basis.
** Fork, Shock and Dropper seatposts not included.
Trek began in 1976, when a pair of determined guys set out to make the best bicycles the world had ever seen. Their vision was grounded in unswerving principles: the product would be of the highest quality craftsmanship and it would bring the joy of cycling to a broader audience.
It was this philosophy that brought Bikeology and Trek together. We know that a quality bike will bring joy and passion to people from all walks of life. With our partnership with Trek, we will continue to bring the joy of the bicycle to more and more people. Some will simply use the bicycle as a tool in their daily life, for others, the bicycle will become a passion that will define the course of their life.
Bikeology and Trek have one thing in common, we are driven by adventure, guided by our history, inspired by community, enchanted by the freedom of the open road and committed, always, to creating, using and providing the world’s greatest bicycles.
